Our challenge

Since its launch in 2008, Coast & Country has been known for its charming hotels in some of the UK’s most scenic destinations, primarily serving as accommodation for Shearings coach tours. However, with new investment and leadership, the brand aimed to broaden its appeal, modernise its identity, and reposition itself as a standalone destination hotel brand. ThinkOTB was tasked with evolving the brand to attract a broader audience while retaining its core values of comfort, quality, and unique locations.

Our creative thinking

ThinkOTB’s approach focused on redefining Coast & Country’s positioning as an aspirational UK getaway brand. We conducted extensive research, refining the brand’s image to emphasise scenic locations, modernised experiences, and a warm, authentic tone. Visually, we introduced a refined logo system, a nature-inspired colour palette, and contemporary typography to reflect the brand’s heritage while appealing to a broader audience. Comprehensive brand guidelines ensured a consistent look and feel across all digital and print assets, reinforcing the new identity at every touchpoint.
